When you go on vacation with your family, you know you’re going to have to do your best to keep everyone happy. One of the great things about visiting Miami is there’s something for everyone of every age. There are a wide variety of things to see and do, the only trouble you may have is choosing from the fantastic range of parks, malls, zoo’s and so much more. This is why I’ve created a list of places you may want to take you family, as they’ve proven to be some of the best and most popular in the city
If you’re going on vacation to Miami, you probably have a good idea about what you would like to do.
Bill Baggs State Park
Bill Baggs State Park is a great place to visit when the sun is shining; you may have already taken the family to the beach, but this park is quite different. Here you will find a lighthouse that was built in 1825, which makes it the oldest structure in the county. This place is perfect for those who love to take a picnic, catch some sun, and even do a spot of fishing. You will find a good range of restaurants, and you will even have the opportunity to camp overnight in a boat should you wish.
Coconut Grove Shopping Mall
With a 13 screen movie theater, Coconut Grove Shopping Mall is more than just a selection of stores, it’s a place that will help to keep the whole family entertained. You can expect to find many different stores here including some very high class ones where a lot of us can only have the pleasure of window shopping in, but there are also many stores we can afford to shop in too. With a good range of restaurants suitable for any palate, which is handy because we know how fussy kids can be, Coconut Grove Shopping Mall is great for a family day out.
Everglades National Park At Shark Valley
The Everglades National Park At Shark Valley is one of the must-visit places anyone of any age needs to see. This is no ordinary park and it certainly won’t leave you wishing you went elsewhere. You can watch alligators sunbathe (Don’t get too close!) and you have the chance to see a wide range of wildlife in their natural habitat, something we don’t get to see very often. You and your family will also have the chance to learn about the Everglades National Park, why it exists and how it works to help create a unique home for some of the worlds’ most amazing animals and plants.
If you would like to experience something incredible, then you should take your family to Miami Seaquarium. You will see dolphins and whales perform for you, plus you could even have the chance to get up close with a range of animals you’ve only ever dreamt of seeing. Perfect for an exciting day out, Miami Seaquarium is not to be missed!
